Belarus, Israel sign poultry joint venture
Belarus and Israel are getting ready for new joint ventures in poultry output, according to the Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus Mikhail Rusyi.
According to the minister, joint projects in poultry production will be implemented in Zaslavl, Olekhnovichi and Dzerzhinsk. Last year, Belarus launched a broiler meat production project. In addition, the sides are preparing projects in fish industry, and also to supply greenhouse equipment and milking machines.
The sides signed a protocol of the second meeting of the joint Belarusian-Israeli intergovernmental committee on trade and economic cooperation. This protocol covers humanitarian, social, and cultural areas, road construction, science and technology and other areas. The sides also signed an agreement on cooperation in healthcare and medicine.
