Anitox appoints new agents in Spain, Portugal and Morocco

Anitox has annouced the appointment of Pau Prio Batalla and his team as agents for its range of feed additive products. They will be responsible for selling the company's bacteriological and mould control products for use in feed and feed materials in Spain, Portugal and Morocco.

Well-known in these countries, Batalla and his team are recognised as major experts in feed hygiene and acid-based treatments within the feed industry. They work alongside the Autonomous University and CESFAC, the Spanish association of feed producers.

"We are developing a very close relationship with feed producers, handling all bio-security affairs on their behalf. We are not just salesmen, we consider ourselves consultants, and partners with and to the feed mills that work with us," said Batalla.

Batalla's team has customers of various sizes that are mainly in pig and poultry production, and handles all food safety aspects of the products the customers produce (eggs and meat for example), feed safety aspects, and workers' safety.

Products handled include all kinds of acids, toxic binders, water anti-bacteria additives and a specific product that significantly improves feed mill efficiency.

"This appointment is part of Anitox's planned development programme in Europe, and ensures its exclusive range of products will become increasingly available to feed mills and producers across the world," said the company's sales director, Roger Mann.
