Tyson plant to resume beef exports to Asian countries
A facility under the ownership of Tyson Foods has been relisted as qualified to export beef to Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, according to USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service.
The facility had been suspended over what Tyson believed at the time to be a procedural hiccup.
Tyson officials could not be reached for comment on the update.
FSIS said the facility can ship to Japan, South Korea and Taiwan without restriction as to date of production.
