Russian 2006/07 grain exports seen at over 13 million tonnes
 

Russian grain exports for the 2006/07 agricultural year ending Jul 1 is expected to register more than 13 million tonnes, according to Agriculture Minister Alexei Gordeyev.

Gordeyev estimates 2006/07 wheat exports to total 8 to 10 million tonnes, adding that grain-harvesting area will occupy 43 million hectares, slightly more than last year.
