2015 Swine Expo - an update

The beautiful coastal city of Xiamen will be host this autumn to the three-day Swine Expo from September 19 to 21. The exhibition is organised by the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, and is initiated by an eleven-strong conglomerate of collaborators, sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim.
The Swine Expo has attracted the attention of many prestigious international companies, including DuPont, The National Swine Registry and The Osborne Group, as well as over 100 national nucleus swine breeding and conservation farms in China.
China's pork industry accounts for more than 50% of the world's production. Thus there are practically endless opportunities to participate in the progress of this enormous market. Experts from around the world will gather at the Expo to discover the recent developments in the industry. The aim for the exchange of ideas between east and west will, without doubt, promote the best interests of the industry, leading to win-win situations for China's swine industry and their collaborators throughout the global pork supply chain.
During the exhibition there will be opportunities for key buyers and sellers to meet and discuss issues of common interest relating to the swine market, such as the cost of raising swine and improving quality and competitiveness.
A series of other special events will be held throughout the exhibition. These will include a China Swine Science Conference; an awards ceremony with the theme "Looking for China's Beautiful Pig Farms"; a livestock show; and, pork delicacy tasting. The exhibition is expected to be an informative, fruitful and fun trip for all attendees.
