India state trading floats tender to import 6,000 tonnes pulses

State Trading Corp. of India Ltd. floated a tender to import 6,000 tonnes of pulses, the company said.

The red lentils need to be shipped in September-December and should be of Australian or Canadian origin, the company said late-Thursday.

The pulses should be delivered at either the ports of Mumbai or Nhavasheva on the western coast or the eastern Kolkata port, it added.

The last date for submitting bids is June 24.
