China's Shaanxi province enters summer corn-sowing peak
China's northwestern province of Shaanxi has entered into its summer corn-sowing peak season with as much as 597,000 hectares of corn by June 15.
Shaanxi also harvested an area of 1 million ha of wheat, accounting for nearly 90 percent of its total wheat sown areas.
During its wheat harvest peak, the province had more than 22,000 machines, including about 4,000 machines aided by neighboring Chinese provinces.
