The United Arab Emirates has lifted a four-month ban on French poultry products, the official Emirates news agency, WAM, reported late Sunday (Jun 18).

A Dubai Municipality official said the ban, introduced after several cases of bird flu, had been lifted on the recommendation of the federal veterinarian control committee.

The government Feb 26 also banned poultry from Iran, Egypt, Iraq, Cyprus and Nigeria.
