China to check grain purchase prices from late June to October
The National Development and Reform Commission and the State Administration of Grains will inspect grain purchase prices from the last 10 days of June through the end of October, the commission said in a statement on its Web site Wednesday (June 17).
The price inspections will be undertaken to help grain purchase programmes achieve their purpose this year, to influence domestic grain prices and find ways to strengthen the country's emergency stockpile price policy, the statement said.
