EU frowns on Ukraine's membership in Black Sea grain pool
The EU disapproves of Ukraine's participation in negotiations to establish a Black Sea grain pool, which comprises of Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan, according to UKRINFORM.
EU Commission for Agriculture and Rural Development Mariann Fischer Boel said the EU does not approve of Ukraine's participation in the grain pool because Ukraine is a World Trade Organisation (WTO) member while Russia and Kazakhstan are not.
Ukraine plans to establish a grain pool in partnership with Russia and Kazakhstan for joint work on the world grain market.
