Schauer introduces liquid pig feeding system in US

Austrian livestock equipment company Schauer has announced its movement into the US market for electronic liquid feeding equipment for pigs.

The Austrian company, with its headquarter in Prambachkirchen, has already established a market position in the US supplying dry feed equipment and sorting sluices. Schauer's product range includes its Compident Electronic Sow Feeding technology.

Supplying liquid feed equipment is mainly a result of increased interest to liquid feeding solutions due to higher feed prices, explained Franz Bauer, sales manager at Schauer, at the latest edition of the World Pork Expo, in Des Moines, Iowa, US.

Schauer works in the US through agents like Automatic Production Systems and Pals.
