Corn prices in China mostly stable; prices move in narrow range at Yellow/Huai River regions (June 16, 2005)
An eFeedLink exclusive report
Corn prices in China were generally stable early this week, although marginal price gains were registered in some parts of the southern consumption regions.
In the north-eastern production regions, prices remained firm in view of the slow market entry of corn from the state-owned granaries. With farmers at the Yellow / Huai River production regions currently occupied with spring sowing, corn prices moved in a narrow range amid light trade in recent days.
