Sellers continue to lift methionine prices in China
Prices of methionine rose prominently during the week ending June 16.
As China's livestock and feed industry continued to rely on imports, methionine prices surged further while distributors and traders taking hold of limited supply increased price quotes.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine surged to the range of RMB44-45/kg.
Methionine prices are seen firm due to low availability.
