Agrokomplektatsiya-Kursk to build pig complex

 


Russian agricultural firm Agrokomplektatsiya-Kursk intends to invest US$105 million in building a pig breeding complex in Kursk region, regional officials report.


Under the project, the company is to build a nursery site in the village of Troitskoye, a re-producer in the village of Gnezdilovo, and a feedlot in the village of Stary Buzets. The pig complex for 52,000 pigs is estimated to be capable of producing up to 30 tonnes of pork daily.


The project is scheduled to be carried out in 2010-2011.
