India to export 300,000 tonnes soymeal over the next three months
India will export 300,000 tonnes of soymeal over the next three months, mainly to Southeast Asian countries, according to a senior trade official.
The soymeal is expected to be sold at between US$490 and US$500 a tonne on a cost-and-freight basis, Rajesh Agrawal, spokesman for the Soymeal Processors Association of India said late Monday.
"International prices have gone up and therefore people are cautious in buying," he added.
