Cehave reports 50 percent growth on swine liquid feed sales
Dutch animal nutrition firm Cehave Landbouwbelang posts strong growth in liquid feed sales since January 2008.
Bert Fierkens, manager pigs at the animal nutrition company, said Cehave's sales data reveal that the number of pigs on liquid feeding has risen by 50 percent in the last 18 months.
It was concluded that producers of finishers often choose for liquid feeding when building new facilities; in sow production it is about 50 percent.
