Kentucky cooperative wins Feed Mill of the Year award

The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) has named the Southern States Cooperative in Park City, Kentucky as the Feed Mill of the year.

Seguin branch of Cargill Animal Nutrition, which manufactures Acco Feeds, was named runner-up.

The Feed Mill of the Year award, co-sponsored by Feed Management magazine, was designed to recognize overall excellence in feed manufacturing operations.

The award promotes increased safety, quality and overall industry awareness of food safety.
