EU intervention resale tender: 53,220 tonnes wheat granted
A total 53,220 tonnes of wheat was granted at Thursday's (Jun 15) European Union intervention resale tender, EU figures show.
This included 36,326 tonnes from Germany at EUR121.01/tonne and 21,894 tonnes from Poland at EUR107.00/tonne.
The EU also granted from intervention stores 11,023 tonnes of Austrian corn at EUR105.11/tonne; 5,022 tonnes of Hungarian corn at EUR104.61/tonne; and 4,006 tonnes of German rye at EUR107.01/tonne.
The intervention grain granted is for use on the internal market only and is not allowed to be granted below domestic or intervention prices.
