South Korea buys 55,000 tonnes of soy and corn
South Korea's CJ Corp bought 55,000 tonnes of Brazil-origin soy in private negotiations with Cargill that concluded late Thursday (Jun 15), a trader in Seoul said Friday.
The cargo will be shipped to South Korea between Jul 20 and Aug 10, the trader said, adding that the price was unknown.
Meanwhile, the Korea Feed Association bought 55,000 tonnes of US-origin corn from trading house Bunge in private negotiations concluded late Thursday, a trader in Seoul said Friday.
The entire shipment will be supplied at US$148.8/tonne, and is scheduled to arrive at Inchon port on Sep 25.
