Prices of folic acid and biotin in China weaken in recent days

• Folic Acid  

Prices of locally produced folic acid weakened in recent days. Offer prices were in the range of RMB195-200/kg, while transacted prices averaged between RMB185/kg and RMB190/kg.

• Biotin

Prices of biotin in China were stable to lower lately.

Offer prices of imported biotin (Japan's Sumitomo Chemical) were in the range of RMB140-145/kg, while transacted prices averaged between RMB130/kg and RMB132/kg.

Price quotes of imported biotin (Roche) hovered at RMB130/kg, with transacted prices recording between RMB123/kg and RMB125/kg.

Meanwhile, offer prices of locally produced biotin registered between RMB115/kg and RMB120/kg, while transacted prices were generally in the range of MRB105-110/kg.
