South Korean feed manufacturers buy 165,000 tonnes wheat
Two South Korean feed manufacturers purchased a total of 165,000 tonnes of wheat in private negotiations, according to three industry executives involved in the transactions.
The Korea Feed Association purchased on June 11 55,000 tonnes of East European wheat for December delivery for US$193.90 per tonne on a cost-and-freight basis.
Major Feedmill Group bought two 55,000-tonne cargoes on June 10 for November arrival for US$195.90 per tonne on a cost-and-freight basis. Major Feedmill paid an additional US$1.50 per tonne for one of the cargoes for delivery to two ports.
