BASF raising prices of formic acid in Asia
BASF is raising its prices for formic acid in the Asia Pacific region by US$50 per tonne.
BASF is the world's leading producer of formic acid, with production plants at its integrated Verbund sites in Ludwigshafen, Germany, and Nanjing, China.
BASF has over 95,000 employees and posted sales of EUR 52.6 billion in 2006. Its portfolio ranges from chemicals, plastics, performance products, agricultural products and fine chemicals to crude oil and natural gas.
