Spain's wheat harvest lowered by drought
After the drought, Spain's wheat industry expects this year's wheat harvest to be 43 percent below that of last year. The wheat harvest is expected to come in at 4.06 million tonnes.
Soft wheat is expected to fall 31 percent to 3.03 million tonnes, while durum wheat harvest is forecast at 1.03 million tonnes, down 62 percent.
Based on data collected in April, Spanish government forecasts the wheat harvest at 4.75 million tonnes.
