Shuanghui Group, Coal Group to put up pig slaughtering project

Shuanghui Group and Shanxi Coking Coal Group Co., Ltd. (SCCG) have made a deal last Monday (June 11) to establish a pig slaughtering and processing cooperation project.

The project will slaughter two million pigs and process 100,000 tonnes of meat products annually, and its sales revenue will hit RMB3 billion-4 billion (US$0.47-$0.63 billion). The two sides will spare no efforts to complete the project and put it into operation within one year.

Chairman of Shuanghui Group discloses that the group will introduce world first-class equipment and technologies and adopt production method featuring modernisation, large size, industrialisation and automation.
