Philippine hog weekly: Opening of classes improves farmgate hog prices (week ended Jun 6, 2012)
The Swine Development Council said that about 87 million kilos of pork have been smuggled to the Philippines last year. According to the group, the figures came from the Bureau of Customs and this should prompt the government to be more vigilant in the entry of contraband pork.
