South Korea buys 100,000 tonnes of Chinese soybean

 

 

South Korea has purchased 100,000 tonnes of non-genetically modified soybeans from China through a local trading house, an official at the state-run Korea Agro-Fisheries Trade Corporation said on Wednesday (June 13).

 

The purchase was split into four lots of 25,000 tonnes each for January 7, April 1, May 8 and July 27 arrival in 2008. No price details were available.
