China Live Hog Weekly: Prices rebound from 20-week slide (week ended Jun 12, 2012)
Overall supply of hog tightened in China, with weekly pork carcass sales in major wholesales centres reducing 1.05% to 9,179 tonnes during the period in review. This together with the discreet but ongoing government pork procurement supported hog prices to rebound lately.
