Vietnamese exporters cautioned of China's new rule on feed materials import

Vietnamese exporters have been warned by the Vietnamese embassy in China on the new regulation of China on importing of materials for animal feed production, state media reported.

Under the new regulation, China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) will tighten control of quality of materials and additives for animal feed production.

Accordingly, all exporters of materials and additives for animal feed production to China have to register to the AQSIQ before June 1, 2013. Vietnamese exporters can send their registration to local Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

China is the biggest importer of Vietnamese cassava and rice. It also imports large quantity of other farm produce from the Southeast Asian nation.
