China's frozen chicken export up while pig exports down in April
China exported 7,332 tonnes of frozen chicken valued at US$10.68 million in April 2007.
This is compared to the 4,348 tonnes seen in March.
The export in January-April reached 21,334 tonnes valued at US$ 31.086 million, up 24.6 percent and 45.0 percent respectively on-year.
Meanwhile, pig exports were down 6.8 percent by volume as exports reached 150,000 heads for April valued at US$ 21.632 million.
The export in January-April reached 520,000 valued at US$ 74.25 million, down 6.8 percent and up 1.6 percent respectively on-year.
