China lysine producers continue to cut prices

Lysine prices were stable to lower during the week ending June 9.

Feed millers were reluctant to stock lysine inventories while feed consumption was slow. Producers and traders readily negotiated prices but failed to stimulate buying interest. Although a handful of producers held price quotes firm, they have lowered transacted prices in a bid to entice buyers.

Average transacted price dipped RMB0.11/kg to RMB8.32/kg.

RMB1=US$0.1612 (Jun 12)
