China's May corn exports plunge 87% on-year

Last month, China exported 3,615 tonnes of corn, diving 87% against the same period of 2011, based on the latest data provided by the General Administration of Customs on Sunday (June 10).

The exports of corn last month were also far lower than 18,459 tonnes a month earlier.

The May imports data for corn are scheduled to be released around June 20.
