VIV China to be annual event from 2009 onwards
Due to the changing dynamics of the Chinese market, VIV China will become an annual trade show from this year onwards to satisfy the needs of the Chinese visitors and exhibitors.
Last year, the Chinese represented 75 per cent of the total number of exhibitors.
This year's VIV China will focus on presenting quality and innovations in the Chinese meat industry.
VIV China 2009 will take place on 19 to 21 October at the China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing, the country's hub for investments in the industry for animal husbandry and meat processing.
VIV China provides a platform where businesses can contribute to and benefit from the rapidly changing Chinese meat industry.
Meanwhile, the key drivers of VIV China 2009 are the tracking and tracing of feed ingredients, animal disease control and animal welfare and meeting changing consumer demand for food safety.
Currently, more than 5,000 square metres of floor space has been booked which will host around 200 to 250 companies. About 140 local and international companies have decided to participate in this event once again, with exhibitors coming from Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, US, Canada, South Korea, Italy and India.
