Vietnam's Minh Phu Seafood Corp has announced that it earned US$44 million from exporting over 4,098 tonnes of seafood products in the first five months this year, according to local news reports.

In May, the Ho Chi Minh City Securities Exchange-listed company earned US$12.13 million from shipping 1,131 tonnes of seafood, much higher than US$8.82 million in April and US$9.14 million in March.

This year, Minh Phu targets shipments of 15,500 tonnes worth US$162 million, VND3.170 trillion of total net revenue and VND236 billion of pre-tax profit.
