Alabama expands stop-sale order on Vietnamese fish
Alabama's agriculture commission expanded a stop sale order on Vietnamese fish Thursday (Jun 9) to include a product mislabeled as "Wild Caught Grouper."
Agriculture Commissioner Ron Sparks in August issued a stop sale order on all Vietnamese farm-raised fish and seafood products in the state of Alabama to include grouper, sole and flounder.
The original stop sale order in August included about 115,000 pounds mislabeled as "Vietnam Wild Caught Sole." The product was actually sutchi catfish.
