Midland firm hopes for a boost with Tesco's new fleet of lorries
After being chosen to have its produce splashed across supermarket giant Tesco's new fleet of lorries, a Midland firm is hoping for a boost.
Each lorry features a map of the UK made up of pictures of products sourced from locations around the country in a bid to champion the firm's dedication to selling local produce.
Wolverhampton-based Midlands Snacks, which has been supplying pork products to Tesco stores across the region since 2008, is amongst the companies featured on the lorries.
Glyn Pocock, spokesman for the company, which sold GBP1 million (US$1.55 million) worth of snacks through Tesco in 2011, said he was delighted the company had been put into the public gaze.
