Koziatyn poultry farm cuts output by 19 percent
Koziatyn poultry farm had cut its May output in comparable prices by 18.7 percent on-year to US$1.4 million, according to the enterprise's representative.
Koziatyn poultry farm, which engages in meat processing and production of beef, pork, sausages and semi-finished meat, produced 278 tonnes of meat and sub-products and also 23 tonnes of sausage products.
The production decrease in May is due to lower cattle supplies by agricultural enterprises, the representative said.
Koziatyn poultry farm had output worth at US$7.7 million in the first five months of the year, a drop of 9.7 percent on-year.
In April, Koziatyn poultry farm cut output in comparable prices by 12.2 percent on-year to US$1.36 million.
