Ukraine farmers to upgrade technologies for grain storage
Ukrainian farmers will soon use up-to-date grain dryers and storages that prevent grain losses by 30 percent, the American Machinery Company (Amako) said.
Vitaliy Skotsyk, Amako director, said 17 new projects for drying and grain storage in different regions will be launched by the company soon.
The capacity of grain dryers will be about 15,000 tonnes a day, he said.
Currently, more than a half of farms in Ukraine are still lacking appropriate equipment. With the latest technology, Ukrainian farmers would be able to improve grain quality and sell grain in the most favourable periods of time, the company pointed out.
Amako engages in buying and selling of used machinery, ensuring quality savings to the customers' equipment purchases. The company is engaged in appraisals, auctions, and liquidations.
