US state Arizona finds chicken with West Nile virus
The West Nile virus has been found in a chicken in Pima County, according to the Arizona Health Department.
A chicken in a regularly checked flock was diagnosed with the virus.
Pima County Health Department spokeswoman said people would not be infected through the consumption of infected chickens or eggs.
The West Nile virus has been found in nine chickens in six Arizona counties so far this year.
