Brazilian soy exports rose 65 percent on-year
Brazilian agribusiness has exported US$27.2 billion worth of products from January to May, up 25.3 percent on-year, with soy and meats occupying a large portion of the exports.
Brazilian soy exports rose 64.6 percent to US$6.8 billion while meats climbed 30.8 percent to US$5.6 billion.
In addition, wheat imports jumped 45 percent to US$888 million despite a drop of 11.8 percent in volume to 2.8 million tonnes from January to May.
