Muyuan sold 172,000 swine in May

Leading swine producer Muyuan Foodstuff had sold 172,000 pigs in May, generating a sales revenue of RMB248 million (US$40 million), up 10.7% year-on-year.

The company's average sales price for commercial swine in May was RMB13.97 (US$2.25) per kg, up 10.2% compared to the previous month and it is expected to continue increasing.
