Methionine market shows signs of stabilising in China
Prices of methionine increased at a slower pace during the week ending June 9.
Prices continued to move higher amid short supply. Nonetheless, as prices of egg and broiler showed signs of weakening lately, demand for methionine softened resulting in slower price increments.
Liquid methionine* quotes in the general market rose to RMB24-24.50/kg.
Prices of methionine will continue to stay firm due to the supply crunch.
