Ukrainian poultry sales price up 44 percent
   
 

Ukrainian companies sold poultry at an average price of US$1,800 per tonne in January to April 2008, up 43.6 percent or US$533 on-year, according to the State Statistic Committee.

Poultry were sold to processors at US$1,694 per tonne. Market price was US$1,649 per tonne while prices in other trade channels were at US$1,770 per tonne.

During the period from January to March 2008, Ukrainian companies sold poultry at an average price of US$1,621 per tonne.
