Ghushtu Shir produces US$22.7 million of products

Tajikistan's unitary enterprise, Ghushtu Shir, has manufactured a total of TJS103.7 million (US$22.7 million) worth of products from January-May 2011, which is 127% of the same period last year or an increase of TSJ2.1 million (US$459,678), according to the Ministry of Energy and Industries (MoEI).

The source at a MoEI said the Dushanbe-based dairy and meat enterprises alone have manufactured TSJ9.7 million (US$2.1 million) worth of output over the same five-month period, which is 30%, or more than TSJ2 million (US$437,789), more than the same period last year.

According to the statistical data from the MoEI, the dairy and meat enterprises in Sughd province have manufactured some TSJ1 million (US$218,894) worth of products, the Khatlon dairy and meat enterprises have produced more than TSJ500,000 (US$109,447) worth of output and Gorno Badakhshan has manufactured TSJ3,700 (US$810) worth of dairy and meat products in January-May this year.
