INDO LIVESTOCK Expo & Forum 2012: Bigger and better than before
Following a successful outing in 2011, INDO LIVESTOCK Expo & Forum is back this year, and promises to be bigger and better. Integrating five events under one roof, the all-encompassing event will be held at the Jakarta Convention Center, Indonesia from 4 - 6 July 2012.
Hosted by Indonesia's directorate general of livestock and animal health, ministry of agriculture, INDO LIVESTOCK Expo & Forum 2012 is expected to draw more than 10,000 trade visitors and delegates, along with 400 exhibitors from 40 countries.
With its 'Food Safety education Campaign' theme, major agribusiness stakeholders will convene to discuss latest trends and issues. They will also examine the new technologies and processes that improve livestock productivity, feed production, animal health and nutrition, slaughtering facilities and packaging technology, among others. Along with the networking opportunities this event provides, visitors can also take the opportunity to source for new technology and equipment.
International exhibitors include Alltech, Bayle, Big Dutchman, Ceva Animal Health Indonesia, Charoen Pokphand Indonesia, Dosatron, Fenchem Biotek, Japfa Comfeed, Muyang Group, Pas Reform, Pfizer Indonesia, Zhengchang, Novartis, Novindo, Adisseo, Biomin and many others. An additional new feature for this year's event are the national and regional pavilions. They cover Europe, the United States, China and Singapore. With a record number of prebooked exhibitors, this year's event is slated to be bigger than ever.
In its previous edition, INDO LIVESTOCK 2011 was an astounding success, with positive feedback from both visitors and exhibitors. The 3-day event saw a total 10,717 registered trade visitors, with 90.9% of exhibitors feeling that they achieved or exceeded their expectation on participation.
This year's INDO LIVESTOCK is being held under the same roof as the much hyped-about 7th Indonesian Livestock Industry Conference. The conference will discuss key pertinent issues including feed management and production, disease management, biosecurity implementation, modern farming systems, meat processing technology, marketing and financing. A gathering of experts and industry leaders are also invited to show their views and visions regarding the livestock and agriculture sector in the region.
Running concurrently with INDO LIVESTOCK are a series of related, protein-line specific shows. These include INDO FISHERIES 2012, INDO DAIRY 2012, INDOFEED 2012 and SDTI Campaign. This makes INDO LIVESTOCK the perfect event for exploring opportunities within Indonesia itself and the greater ASEAN region. With its broad coverage of all Indonesian agribusiness lines, there is something for everyone at INDO LIVESTOCK 2012.
