Value of China's agri trade takes an upturn
China's export and import of agricultural products reached US$35.1 billion in the first four months this year, an increase of 33.1 % on-year, according to statistics released by China's Ministry of Agriculture (MOA).
Statistics show that during January to April, China exported agricultural products valued at US$14.06 billion, an increase of 21% from the same period of 2009, and imported US$20.95 billion, up 42.8% on-year.
The export and import value in April reached US$9.51 billion, up 25.9% on-year, among which, the export valued at US$3.74 billion, up 17.9% on-year and the import valued at US$5.77 billion, up 31.7% on-year.
The April deficit was US$2.03 billion, surging 67.9% on-year.
