India's MMTC issues tender to import 50,000 tonnes wheat

India's government-run trading company MMTC Ltd Thursday (Jun 7) issued a tender to import 50,000 tonnes wheat for delivery in July or August.

According to the tender document, bids should be submitted by June 19 and should be valid till June 29.

According to the document, MMTC retains the option to buy an additional 50,000 tonnes, and prefers early delivery.
