China's June soy imports to show on-year increase

China's soy imports in June are likely to reach 5.22 million metric tonnes, and if realised, it would be an on-year increase of 11% increase.

The estimate, which was published on the China's commerce ministry's website, was based on importers' reports during May 1-May 15, and the regular forecast is usually lower than the actual import figure because it does not include all cargoes.

The ministry issues the estimates twice a month.
