Ukraine's beef prices down to 4.4 percent in May
Ukraine's May beef prices in 13 regions fell by 0.1 to 4.4 percent to UAH 16.63 to 24.57 per kilogramme compared in April, according to State Price Control Inspectorate.
At the same time, beef prices on the markets of nine regions rose by 0.2-4.7% to UAH 16.79-22.50 per kilogram, in five regions the prices remained at the level of UAH 17.50-18.85 per kilogram.
According to the inspectorate, May's highest price for beef was UAH 24.57 per kilogramme in the markets of Kyiv while the lowest price was registered at UAH 16.63 on the markets Zakarpattia region.
In April, beef prices on the markets of 16 regions rose by 0.5 to 11.8 percent to UAH 16.27 to 25.14 per kilogramme, compared to March.
