China vitamin C market shows signs of strengthening
Even though rainstorms disrupted aqua farming in the south previously, the demand for aqua feed grew steadily as other regions of China enjoyed warmer climates.
As of June 5, offer prices for pharmaceutical-grade vitamin C remained at RMB24-25/kg while quotes by some small- and medium-scale producers were slightly lower.
Vitamin C prices are expected to move higher as demand from the aquaculture sector expands further.
