Feedlogic introduces BlendTronic micro-ingredient system

Feedlogic Corporation, a livestock feeding solutions company, has introduced the BlendTronicâ„¢ intelligent micro-ingredient application, a system which provides innovative control and monitoring of micros commonly used in livestock feed.
Designed to operate with most feed delivery systems in production facilities, BlendTronic helps livestock producers to apply micros in livestock feed through a more cost-effective and precise method based on Feedlogic's FeedMeterâ„¢ technology, which ensures accurate inclusion rates. Feed flow through the main feed line is constantly monitored, with injection rates altered according to various flow rates. Variable inclusion rates can be programmed, enabling pulsing or step-up strategies to improve efficacy of specific products.
BlendTronics also features intelligent alerting tools which send automated notifications to barn managers, supervisors, and suppliers whenever micros are at low levels and in need of replenishment.
The system can be monitored in real time via a web service. Multiple sites can be managed from a single web dashboard. All product usage is recorded to an online database, providing easy access to history and full traceability.
According to Feedlogic president, Drew Ryder, BlendTronic was developed to meet a growing demand for precise management of micro-ingredients, in the wake of recent scrutinises over the use of ractopamine and feed-grade antiobiotics.
